I’m a experienced brand and content marketing leader, producer of CLIO Award-winning web content, an ASBPE award-winning technology journalist, SEO/SEM expert, social media strategist, communications manager, and published book author with 15+ years of experience in brand storytelling and team management. I’m based in Colorado, and probably drink far too much coffee.
I’m a contributor to The New Stack, and my most recent role was Director of Content and Communications at Checkly. I’ve held similar roles at Gatsby (which was acquired by Netlify) and MobiledgeX (which was acquired by Google). Before that I was a Senior Content Marketing Manager at Hitachi Vantara. I’ve also worked at Hewlett Packard Enterprise in content and digital marketing, was formerly the Editorial Director for the Petri IT Knowledgebase, and also served as the Editor-in-Chief of Windows IT Pro (now known as IT Pro Today) and Microsoft Technet Magazine.
I also worked for the LEGO Company for seven years in various roles, including as producer and writer for several LEGO Bionicle video games. (Yes, working for LEGO is absolutely as cool as it sounds.)
